Rachelle Jenkins is a sought-after horn player, writer, and teacher originally from Fort Myers, Florida. An active performer, she has played with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Montreal Symphony, Iceland Symphony, San Diego Symphony, Florida Orchestra, Sarasota Orchestra, and Naples Philharmonic, as well as guest principal horn with the Hawaii Symphony and Orlando Philharmonic. 

Rachelle is the author of Audition Playbook, a two-part guide and workbook for optimal planning and preparation of orchestral auditions, and the creator of auditionplaybook.com, a growing resource of articles, interviews, and tools for musicians.

Rachelle maintains an active teaching studio and coaches preparation, practice, and performance skills to performers of all backgrounds. She has led masterclasses in audition preparation and entrepreneurial skills for musicians at universities and workshops across North America and teaches All-State audition skills to high school students of all instruments.

She studied at The Colburn School, McGill University's Schulich School of Music, and the University of Central Florida. She has been a fellow of both the Tanglewood Music Center and the Aspen Music Festival and School. Her primary teachers include Andrew Bain, John Zirbel, Johnny Pherigo, and Dr. Don Greene.

In her free time, Rachelle enjoys cooking, comedy, traveling, and learning new skills. With a strong entrepreneurial spirit, she is also the founder of Musemap Creative Consulting and co-founder of Knight House Network.
